We are constantly monitoring the ever-changing role of physicians, changing societal expectations, rapidly evolving medical science, and the diversity of educational techniques. In the coming months, medical students will not only witness this change but also benefit from it. These insightful remarks were made by Mr. Manoj Agarwal, Chairman of K.D. Medical College-Hospital and Research Center, at the inauguration of the modern lecture theatre.


After garlanding the portraits of Goddess Saraswati and Grandmother Kanti Devi and lighting the lamp, Chairman Manoj Agarwal ji stated that our sole objective is to transform the entire healthcare landscape. This modern lecture theatre will be able to accommodate 300 students simultaneously. Chairman Manoj Agarwal ji stated that we have established K.D. He has not only pledged to completely revamp the Medical College-Hospital and Research Center but has also made budgetary provision for it. He stated that the coming six months will be a period of transformation, requiring everyone’s cooperation. He added that all lecture halls at K.D. Medical College will be equipped with modern audio-visual facilities, and the library will be upgraded to further enhance the academic wing.

Principal and Dean Dr. R.K. Ashoka, in his address, stated that the landscape of medical education and training in the country has undergone a profound transformation in recent times, with the traditional approach of relying solely on textbook teaching and didactic classroom instruction being replaced by a more comprehensive and integrated approach. Dr. Ashoka stated that 21st-century students favor curriculum, evolving technology, and methods that ensure high standards, rather than traditional medical education. Dr. Ashoka thanked Chairman Manoj Agarwal for fulfilling the vision of Dr. Praneeta Jaswant Singh, Head of the Department of Pathology, for a modern lecture theater.

In her address, Dr. Praneeta Singh stated that medical education and training have undergone a paradigm shift. Evolving technology and the advent of AI-enabled teaching and training systems have not only empowered healthcare professions with learning opportunities but have also established a more effective and goal-oriented system, ensuring that students receive not only a better education but also significantly improve their academic development. She added that evolving technology has also helped address specific problems that require customized teaching and training solutions. Executive Director Arun Agarwal, in his address, stated that medical education is also changing with changing times, and we are keenly aware of this change and are working towards it with full commitment.

Dr. Shubham showcased the clean audio-visual experience of the modern lecture theatre via projector. Dr. Sangeeta Singh, Dr. Sonam, and others welcomed the guests at the inauguration. Medical Director Dr. Rajendra Kumar Bhardwaj, Dr. V.P. Pandey, Dr. Manju Pandey, Dr. Amanjot Kaur, etc., department heads and professors wholeheartedly praised the increasing teaching-training facilities at K.D. Medical College.
