With the aim of promoting socio-cultural and sports activities among medical students, K.D. Medical College-Hospital and Research Centre, Mathura, students Harman Singh Chawla and Deepika Khandelwal brought glory to the entire Braj region by achieving golden success in ‘Pulse 2025′, organized at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. While Harman Singh won the singles and doubles table tennis titles at the national level, Deepika Khandelwal was chosen as Miss Pulse 2025.

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi Students’ Union has been celebrating the national socio-cultural and sports festival since 1973. Recently, thousands of students from medical colleges across the country participated in five days of cultural and sports activities at AIIMS New Delhi’s national annual festival, “Pulse-2025.” K.D. Medical College students not only participated in Pulse-2025 but also brought glory to the college and the Braj region by winning three gold medals.

K.D. Medical College paddler Harman Singh Chawla won the singles and doubles table tennis titles. Harman Singh defeated Garvit of AIIMS New Delhi in the men’s singles semi-finals, 11-6, 11-5, and 11-8, in straight sets, to advance to the finals. He defeated Parag of GS Hapur Medical College 4-2 in the final to win the title. Harman’s winning streak did not stop there; he, along with Ayush (MAMC), won another doubles title by defeating the pair of Parag and Hemaksh 4-0 in straight sets.

Inspired by Harman Singh Chawla’s success, Deepika Khandelwal also showcased her talent with brilliance, excelling in ramp walk, dance, and intellectual evaluation. The judges not only praised Deepika’s performance but also awarded her the title of Miss Pulse 2025. At the closing ceremony, guests presented Harman and Deepika from K.D. Medical College with gold medals, winner’s trophies, and certificates.

Dr. Ramkishore Agarwal, Chairman of R.K. Educational Group, Manoj Agarwal, Chairman of K.D. Medical College, Arun Agarwal, Chief Executive Officer, and Dr. R.K. Ashoka, Principal and Dean, congratulated the students who achieved golden success in the medical field’s largest national competition and wished them a bright future. Principal Dr. R.K. Ashoka encouraged both students, saying that achieving golden success at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi’s Golden Jubilee celebrations is a memorable moment. Dr. R.K. Ashoka praised Harman and Deepika for their outstanding achievements in sports and cultural activities and urged other students to take inspiration from them.
