On Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday, doctors spearheaded the “Healthy Women, Empowered Family” campaign, organized by the Department of Community Medicine at KD Super Speciality Hospital. Several activities focused on women’s health were organized as part of this campaign. The campaign began with birthday wishes for Prime Minister Modi.

Under the “Healthy Women, Empowered Family” campaign, women were screened for blood pressure, sugar, anemia, oral cancer, breast cancer, cervical cancer, tuberculosis, ENT-related diseases, and eye examinations. On this occasion, doctors also raised awareness about the growing obesity problem. They stated that a clean environment reduces the spread of diseases, strengthens immunity, and provides a healthy environment for women and children.

Prime Minister Modi launched the “Healthy Women, Empowered Family” scheme in Dhar on his 75th birthday. This scheme aims to strengthen health and nutrition services for women, adolescent girls, and children across the country. On this occasion, Medical Director Dr. Rajendra Kumar, Head of the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics Dr. V.P. Pandey, Head of the Department of Medicine Dr. Manju Pandey, Deputy Medical Superintendent Dr. Ambrish Kumar, Head of the Department of Community Medicine Dr. Amanjot Kaur Chauhan, Nodal Officer of the Healthy Women, Empowered Family Campaign Dr. Nishant Gupta, Dr. K.P. Dutta, and others elaborated on the concept of “Healthy Women, Empowered Family.” Medical Director Dr. Rajendra Kumar stated that Prime Minister Modi has always celebrated his birthday as a dedication to public service and welfare schemes, rather than a personal celebration.

Deputy Medical Officer Dr. Ambrish Kumar stated that under the “Healthy Women, Empowered Family Campaign” launched by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, several programs will be organized at KD Super Speciality Hospital from September 17th to October 2nd to promote women’s health and screen for various diseases. This campaign will include screening and treatment for non-communicable diseases, including cancer, anemia, and tuberculosis. This national health campaign will focus on women’s health and empowerment.

This campaign will ensure comprehensive healthcare for women. Health tips on anemia-free women, healthy mothers, stress-free women, herbal nutrition, and bone health will be provided to help women effectively address their health concerns. At the end of the program, all doctors congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his birthday and wished him a healthy and long life.
